2.18.08 Liz completed her MBA (Master's in Business).
3.9.08 Liz travels to Orlando, FL for work (and see sister Joni since both work for the same company) and
visit friend, Nikki Draper, who lives in Jacksonville, FL. Jared's mom, Mary Lou, is traveling to CA to help
take care of Ellie while Liz is away. Jared's dad, Ron, also visits CA for a few days.
4.10.08 Liz's mom visits us in CA (to see Ellie, of course!).
4.14.08 We're moving again - to Phoenix - in late July! Jared accepted a position with Barnet, Dulaney,
Perkins Eye Center: www.goodeyes.com, an ophthalmology group practice. We will finally be putting down
some roots!
6.09.08 Somebody is watching over our family! On the day Ellie turned 8 months, Liz's mom had a terrible
lawn mowing accident and ended up having 15 staples put in her head. Luckily it appears as if she is
going to recover with only minor scars (which will all be covered by her hair in the future), and we are
thankful for this outcome as the situation could have been much worse! We love you and are thinking
about you mom!
5.23.08 We traveled to Phoenix for 10 days to plan for the move. While in Phoenix we had Ellie's 7-8 month
professional pictures taken with Treasure the Time Photography: www.treasurethetime.com. We were
also fortunate enough to have both parents fly to Phoenix to spend a few days with us and babysit Ellie :).
7.5.08 The weekend of July 4th we headed to Catalina Island, off the coast of Southern California, for a day
trip: www.catalina.com/catalinahome.html. It was also to celebrate our 8 year anniversary that is also in
July, as we will not be able to celebrate it on the actual day since we will be packing for our move to AZ.
7.1.08 Liz received a promotion at work and is now the Director of Client Business Development. She will
continue to telecommute for her company headquartered in Oregon after we relocate to Arizona.
7.26.08 We're all set for our move to Phoenix July 26. The movers will be packing up our house July 23-25!
8.7.08 Liz and Ellie traveled to the lakes in MN for Auntie Joni's Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party and
spend a relaxing weekend with family and friends.
8.4.08 Jared started his new job at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Phoenix.
10.9.08 Ellie is 1 year old. The Anderson Grandparents and Grandma Ulven flew to Phoenix for the
weekend to help celebrate.
11.1.08 We are pending on a house purchase in AZ. We hope to close on November 12! We also took
Ellie's one year Professional Pictures with Sandi Bradshaw from www.treasurethetime.com.
10.10.08 We found out Ellie is going to be a cousin again. Jared's brother and wife are expecting their 2nd
baby in late spring 2009. Congrats Nate & Trish!
10.22.08 We traveled to Anaheim, CA so Jared could attend Optometry Meetings, and we spent a day at
Disneyland with friends.
11.25.08 We finally closed on our house after multiple delays! We look forward to moving in!
11.27.08 Jared parents and brother's family flew to AZ to spend Thanksgiving with us. Pictures Coming.
12.24.08 We will be spending Christmas in Portland, OR with Liz's family.
